I forget the length but as for the driveshaft, I was able to use my stock one but with the proper TH400 slip yoke put on. No changes in driveshaft length. My car originally had the 200c which is within a half inch of length as the short tail TH400. Then I used Spohn's torque arm and crossmember to make things easy on the swap. Ah, found a chart for lengths

Code:
case overall bellhousing to
length length trans mount
powerglide (short tail) 15 1/4 24 1/4 19 1/2
powerglide (long tail) 15 1/4 27 1/2 20 1/2
thm200 27 5/8 27 5/8 20 1/8
thm250 21 5/8 27 5/8 20 3/8
thm350 (short tail) 21 5/8 27 5/8 20 3/8
thm350 (long tail) 21 5/8 30 5/8 20 3/8
thm400 (short tail) 24 3/8 28 1/4 26 3/4

Just a guess but you'll need one about 2 1/2 longer than what you have now... Measure to make sure after you put the new transmission in.
