700R4 Limitations

How much power can a stock rebuilt 700R4 handle? What would you suggest for 375horse power?

Thanks guys,
Steve

It depends on who does the building of the unit, and what parts they use. Most builders that I have seen over the years, can't build it as good as it was before the rebuild, sad to say.

When the guy built it he said he was putting performance parts to strenghten it. The rebuild was done proffesionaly by a Transmission shop.

What kind of tranny do you think would be good to withstand the torque of a 400hp 350?Should be around 425ft lbs@4500 rpm(desktop dyno)

Thanks,
Steve
