Which Stall?

I am building a 327 for my 82 Z28....I got a built T-350 and a 3.73 Posi in the rear. I am looking at a .494 cam for the motor. With this much of a cam what size stall converter should I get? I was thinking like a 2,000 stall, What do you think?

How big is the cam (duration) at .050 lift?, and what are the lobe centers? It sounds like a 2,500 rpm stall (10") will do what you want.

Here are the cam specs listed in Jegs.... Adv. Duration-278/290...Gross Lift- 467/.494...RPM Range 2000-6200... Its a Crane Power Max cam... Do you think this cam would be ok for the street but still pretty potent? They have bigger ones, but this is the top of the powermax line for SBC.
