Drum to Disc rear swap
Have an 86 camaro and an 85 trans am doner car. pulled the 9 bolt disc from the TA and want to swap it into my camaro. what exactily do i need to change? thanks

drum-disc swap
I swapped a rear disc axle assembly from an 84 berlinetta into my 88 bird. You must obtain the correct proportioning valve (sits under the master cylinder), and a different master cylinder (different check ball inside I believe). The brake line T is in the same location, so no changes to line routing are required. If you want your parking brake to function, new cables will be required (they are of slightly different length). You should be able to use the drum e-brake equilizer (the gadget that the cables hook to under the center console on the underside of the car). Hope this helps...
