If you do not want to rebuild it now, then add the Corvette servo for a start, and maybe the .500 main boost valve if that does not work. This is could be a temporary fix.

This worked well with my transmission for a while. Like Pro Built said, it is a temporary fix. My transmission died today. I may be calling Pro Built for a new transmission today.

One of my friends has a car that does this. It has done it since he had the car. He was told it was rebuilt and has a shiftkit in it. It seems to shift pretty firm unless he is at full throttle. I know that if we set his tv cable we can get it so it is not nearly as bad or not there and it shifts at the right rpm, but after a while it seems to move one notch or something. It never completely goes away, but is better right after we reset the tv. What I was wondering is what is this a symptom of?

The problem that I had with my car was that at WOT it would not shift from 1-2 until about 6000 to 6500 RPM. Sometimes it still wouldn't shift until I let off the gas and then punched it again.

Yeah, thats what his does, but if we set the tv we can get it to shift closer to correct. Driving next to him when he is at full throttle kind of sounds like he is driving a manual because he had to let off of the gas lol. I was just wondering what the problem is that causes this.
