How much would a nice used set cost (aluminum bellhousing, clutch fork, throwout bearing)? I need these to mate my manual up to a 305 I just got.


I know it may vary from place to place but what is a reasonable price to get these necessary parts to complete my drivetrain? Gotta start saving some money.

There's no point in getting a used fork unless it happens to be stuck to the bell housing you happen to get.

A new fork is about $18 or $20 at the dealer; a new throwout bearing will come with the clutch kit you will be buying, or you can buy a new one by itself for about $12-15.

 

Okay then, how much would I be looking to spend for a good bellhousing....say this one.

 

Dunno... maybe $50... I'd throw that fork and bearing in the trash, buy new ones (and the fork dust boot too)

I have some extras but they're not for sale so I have no clue what they go for out there in the RW
