Ok I know what i want, but i dont know what to get, and is this what i want ? *shrug*

Here is the car...

92 Camaro Z28 5.7L TPI 700R4 G92 3.42 Posi...

The problem...

One day i was cruising and was messing around and ended up doing something to the tranny. I think i blew a seal or ate something up because ther was lots of smoke. But after that it never smoked again.

A few weeks later me and a buddy tried to put the B4C valve in to bypass the OD-D kickdown at WOT. Needless to say the tranny started slipping hard. We was pretty sure we had it right, got a service manual, we put everything back in correctly, restored to stock, still same problem, drove car for a month and then got beater, put down for storage...

Time to get her out of storage. I know it needs something rebuilt inside. I also want to add a transgo shift kit, modify the valve to allow OD at WOT, corvette servo, better stahl, and a torque converter. The car is going to most likely remain monstly stock for now. It will get headers and Borla exhaust, maybe suspension, heads/cam, normal go fast goodies. What should i be looking for? While the tranny is out and getting rebuilt, i want to put it all together right now.

Any input is appreciated.

How about a T5 ? Be nice to it and with a good shifter, im sure it'll last till you can buy a T56, then you'd already have shifter hole and pedals in, if you can swap an auto trans, you have the resources to do the swap, im sure. I may be able to get you a complete T5 setup if you're interested.
