Well if the T5 blows up this summer, I will install an automatic, i dont have the money for a richmond. I have a Th400 collecting dust in the garage, but i can buy 700R4 at a junk yard for cheap. Which tranny will give me the least problems during the swap? Im running a 350 with 4.10 posi.

a 700R4 will obviously be the easiest
but its a POS durability-wise compared to a TH400
go with the TH400.......its worth the extra effort

Both have advantages. Mainly these:
TH400 - bulletproof tranny
700R4 - Overdrive gear
TH400 - bulletproof tranny
