Anyone who figures this out is a hero

Why won't my clutch engage. I have a 1988 camaro sport coup with a 305 T.B.I engine. This car has a t-5 transmission. Recently replace the clutch and in doing so it now does not work. The clutch will not engage unless the driver pumps the clutch about 50 times very fast. The car will drive in gear when it is started in gear. It will also drive through all the gears once the user pumps the clutch numerous times, but after about 10 seconds of good clutch it seems to just loose pressure. The hydrolyic system has been gravity fed for 3 hours and also pedal bleed through a quart of DOT-3. Also the slave cylinder rod has been extended by about one half inch. When installing the new clutch no hydrolic lines were removed from the vehicle. When the clutch was put in the transmission slipped perfectly all the way past the pressure plate and friction disk right into the pilot bearing. No hesitations at all. When the car is in neutral and the driver pumps and held the pedal until acurate pressure has developed to engage the clutch, you can engage all gears until you release the clutch and then push it to the floor again which at that time no gear will engage until the driver repeats the process of pumping the clutch. Once again no hydrolic lines were removed or tampered with while installing the new clutch. The hydrolic system was also vacuum bleed with no results. I would really like my car for summer so any help is a plus Thanks ....1LE

It souds like the seals are losing pressure, and if you "overadjust" the slave cylinder rod, this might affect the situation also.

i didn't click rb's link but i bet it is for a incorrectly installed throw out bearing, that'd be my guess.
