2800 Stall Too much?

I am going to replace my transmission with one from Pro-Built. When I do that I want to install a 2800 or 3000 RPM stall convertor. Will that be too much stall for my car. See my sig for car details. The stock torque peak is 3200 I believe. I want the car to have a nice strong shift. Will a higher stall weaken the shifts? I don't drive the car that often and when I do I get on it pretty good.
