Wheel Hop?!

Ok heres my problem. It started about a month ago. I don't get it. I was driving around and was stopped at a light, when it went green I got on it a little bit . . . nothing but wheel hop. And IT has been doing it ever since. It's really annoying especially when I load up the convertor and rip in it nothing but wheel hops and it feels like the car is gonna rip apart at the welds it shakes so badly.

What have all of you done to coreect this. Would sub frame connectors help me? Im buying the Hyperflex energy suspension rebuild kit. I think that all my stock rubber is all blown out . . . could that be the problem? Let me know.

I have High School Drags coming up on May 3rd and I need to correct this by then so I can actually get some good times in. Please let me know, any advise is helpful.

Sean

Could be your tranny mount. When I replaced my clucth I ended up breaking the tranny mount and the wheels hoped like crazy.

i had my tranny clunking around, and wheel hop on my 88 formula. i fixed that with a new rubber tranny mount, and rear control arms from lakewood.

under 100 bucks fixed both of my problems, car felt alot better after that.

the wheel hop and tranny clunk would be most present at the track after i did a burnout, when i lanuched in first gear at the light the car felt like it was going to fall apart also.
