TV Cable and normal operartion of car..

Ok.. I have a weird question...

I want to simply know if my car will shift into reverse without the TV Cable connected. (5.7L TPI engine, 700R4 tranny in case that matters)

Reason I ask is that my car is in storage and the storage guys have to move my car... they said they only need to put her in reverse and move her about 15 feet....this will be inside a garage so the speeds will be almost 0 (ie: slightly better than idling)...

I forgot to connect my TV cable when I put my plenum back on a couple of months ago

Where my car is located is kind of a PITA for me to just simply go and connect my cable so they can move my car 15 feet.. (it is located on a island which requires a short ferry ride for me)...

So can I tell them to go ahead and move my car without any worries of something screwing up??

I know.. dumb question but "dumb things" happen to me! LOL

yes it will

yes it will shift into reverse iv had my tv cable disconected for a wle cause ive been wating to put the new one on that i bought cause the car isnt on the road yet the only thing that teh tv cable does is make the car not shift out of 1st gear when it is in drive cause it cant tell u are giving it any throttle. actualy if u want you could manualy shift it ur self untill its hooked up and i dont think it will hurt it at all just dont go any ware im just talking about the door yard cause ive been fixing lots of little things on my car so i havent realy had to have the car get out of 1sr gear at all.
