rear end with disk brakes

guys, today I found a junked T/A with rear disk brakes... I was wondering if all of them came posi? plus the guy is asking 500 CND for it... how much really is it worth? the thing is laying in the mud under the body so all I can see is it rusted... any thoughts on that?

yeah thought so... how much is it worth really? and is it more difficult to put disk brakes on a rear end or to make a rear end posi (if doable at all)? thanks for answering this newbie's questions

If it's rusty and lying in the mud, I probably wouldn't even consider it. The rotors are used/rusted and would need to have a considerable amount taken off of them to clean them up, most likely below minimum thickness. Also the pistons in the calipers are probably rusted/pitted which makes them worth nothing more than a core. It would be easier to change a rear to posi than to change a rear to disc brakes. Just my .02.
