hum de dum in search of a better clutch

i have a centerforce dual friction clutch its been nuthing but a peice of ****. ive tryed two differnt flywheels and i still have the same vibration at 2000-2300 and 3200-3600. the first one i installed didnt lst long at all, it died at the track in the burnout box. so i bought a new disc cleaned up the pressure plate, resurfaced my extra flywheel and bought a shorter throw out bearing. put it all together. same vibrations, have about 2000 miles on it and its grabbing farther and farther out. some times it grabs like ****. im not happy with this clutch at all. so now im gonna go for somethin else. im thinkin mcleoud. anyone have any insight on good clutches for these cars that will actually last me.

I got the McLeod of thunderracing.com. I have nothing but praise for the clutch. My application is not that high performance, relatively stock 305, but I love the clutch. It had minor chatter during breakin, but that's now gone and the clutch and press plate perform flawlessly. It was highly recomended to me, and I would highly recomend it to anyone looking for a clutch.

It grabs soon. When the pedal is just a couple inches of the floor the car starts creeping, giver her another inch and it's engaged. It's actually caught me off guard a couple times because it grabs so good! As far as pedal feel, it's not that firm, but it's defonatly harder than stock.

On the stock clutch, she would usually pull some second gear rubber and that would be it. Now it gets some serious second gear rubber and a little in 3rd, it grabs!

"Kevin91Z" is a user on this board, and he's also running the McLeod. He thinks it's a great product also, so you can shoot him a couple questions and get a second opinoin if you want.

I use McLeod, it's good stuff. I've got the McLeod disk on my T56 setup, with the LT4 PP. A bit of chatter on break in, but no biggie. Nice and grabby.
