Need help choosing a torque converter..

Ok, i am buying a high performance rebuilt 700r4 for the iroc this week. I want to put a good torque converter on when i do. I am not real sure which one i should buy. i can't really spend more than $200 bux. if anyone knows where i can get a GOOD one for a decent price, please reply and let me know. 2000-2400 is what i was told i should get for stall. thanks again.

Get a Midwest Converter. www.raceconverters.com You will have to give them a call. They make them specially to your needs. They make the best converter for the price. I think the converter is better than the ones from Yank but about $300-400 cheaper. I got a 2800 stall with a 2.2 STR for $365 shipped. If you only want a 2000-2400 stall converter it will be cheaper. For the price you will not find a better converter. I don't think you will find a better converter for any price.

You need the lockup converter.
