aluminum driveshaft

Recently I just purchased an aluminum driveshaft for my car. I haven't installed it yet. It came out of an 89 Iroc with a borg-warner rear end. Mine doesn't have a borg-warner, will this be a problem for the installation? For those who have done this, is there a noticeable difference in performance? All advice is welcome. Thanks.

The 1LE Aluminum dr shaft you just bought will bolt right up to your rear axle yoke with no problems. About a 1/2 hr job if you get under your car (lift or jackstands). Performance wise you will not get any real big SOTP feel. However; it a good mod and will lighten up your drivetrain.
