How Do I Tell?

How do I tell what transmission is in my car...I had assumed since it was a 3 speed auto and it was built with a nice shift kit that it was a TH-350, Then after goin though Camaro history I found that My car came with the 200c trans...Somone swapped rears and put 3.73s in this car along with alot of other mods so I am not sure if the trans was swapped as well! So how do I know what it is...And this 200c isn't gonna hold my new motor is it?

you can usually tell a th200 by the way the letters are arranged on the pan, they should look something liek this METRIC, or CIRTEM depending on which side you're on.

more than likely it is a 200C, not a TH200, the th200 is a 4 speed overdrive.
