my motor is making about 300hp at the rear wheels. And it is now time for a rebuild trans.
I am considering just a basic rebuild with shiftkit and quality clutches. nothing fancy as I don't have that much money to put into a trans. Does anyone think a mild modded trans will live a long time behind my motor?
The local trans shops are trying to sell me on some high dollar fancy trans work which i don't think is all that nessesary.

any opinons? my engine mods are on my sig.
