Gaskets wont seal
Well I am on my third gasket. Last night I finished my trans cooler install and put the fluid in, but my batt was dead so I put it on the charger overnight. When I went out there tonight there was a huge pool of trans fluid on the ground.
I am on my 3rd cork gasket and I used RTV sealant on it too. It is leaking from the same place (front passenger side) But the pan and trans look fine at that point. Should I try a rubber one to see if that will seal it better?

try hammering the dimples flat around the bolt holes in the pan. you shouldn't need any sealer on the machined surface, i'd use a thin coating of rtv on the pan. don't over tighten either, it'll split the gasket.
Yup, that's good advice. If it's leaking and you haven't even started it yet, you've probably got a spot on the tranny pan that's warped.
Take the pan off and lay a straight-edge ( ruler etc ) on each side and look for a gap.
Straighten it up like suggested. As for the gaskets, I always like the rubber gasket better. If I remember correctly, most parts stores sell a rubber pan gasket seperately from the filter kit. Use enough RTV to hold the gasket in place while bolting it up. I normally just put some on my finger and spread it around between each bolt hole, making sure not to put too much on that when tightened the RTV won't go into the pan.
Also make sure you're not overtightening the pan bolts. It doesn't take much at all to get 'em tight.
