i have an S10 with a 700r4 and when i pull it down int 1st it still shifts into 2nd , i thought it just needed adjustment but i never got around to it. so when i got my 88TA i pulled the console shift down into 1st and started counting the clicks it took to get it to park and it seems to be missing a gear; OD-1st is this normal or is it just a fluke i got 2 vehicals that do the same thing, and yes the tranny is a 700R4 not a TH350.
