Why is it sometimes real hard to put T5 in gear?
Clutch is a brand new centerforce dual friction. This only seems to happen from a stop, and its hard to get into second or third (also from a stop) as well. I thought it might be me so a few times on my way to work today I did make sure clutch was fully disengaged. It seems to happen more after some driving, not when everything is still cold. When I'm moving, going from gear to gear is no problem.
I converted to 5 speed last year, trans is from a '92 firebird that had ~90k. It is not sloppy and other than this issue it feels really good/tight, not sloppy at all.
Anyone know what would cause this? It feels wrong having to stuff it into gear with this much force, I'm afraid to break something.
thanks
