th350 B&M brackets
ok instructions that B&M supplies for the th350 tailshaft housing torquwe arm brackets just plain suck, i cant make out in them whether the main bracket is supposed to go on top of tailhousing or between it and the main tranny housing
also why do they tell you to thread in the studd in the lower left case hole, whats the point of that ? why not just a bolt
and they say nothing about the tranny mount bracket they supply and what to do with it ont he thm200 to th350 conversions
how do these brackets go on ???????/
thanks for anything

whats the point of the threaded stud to install in lower left hole for extension housing ? i dont understand why you cant just use all four bolts like already is there ??
thanks

The transmission mount adapter is for the 700-350 swap. For the 200-350 swap you retain the origional crossmember as they will bolt right up w/ no mods. As for the lower stud, just use a bolt if it makes you feel better. I did and haven't had any problems. I feel better w/ a bolt in there then a screw in stud and lock nut anyday. Just incase you haven't done so or haven't thought of it, I would suggest putting the speedo cable on now unless you have small hands. Its easier the put the cable back on the speedo vs. having to jack up the car and wiggle your greased hands about trying to get the cable on! Just food for thought. hope that helps.
