Can you fix a blasted clutch slave?
The darn thing is practically brand new too. Basically, the pivot ball backed out of the bell housing, I didn't know this and stepped on the clutch. Felt like a rock at first, then gave way. After giving out it felt like stepping on a pillow. When I got the car home & put it up on stands, I noticed 1) the pivot was backed out, and 2) the slave was dripping.
Has anybody ever had something like this happen to their clutch hydraulics? If so, can it be fixed, should I try filling it with dot3 and give bleeding a shot or is this a waste of time because something is busted, etc.

Not a thing you can do. I did the exact same thing and actually shatted the meatl that the retaining clip slipped into. Get new slave cylinder and call it done.
