Engine: L-98 with LO-3 induction. 350 CFI
Transmission: 5 speed and vette has 700r4
Axle/Gears: 373's in T/A .. vette unknown
90 5 speed owner come in
need a quik answer, I'm trying to get a vehicle speed sensor for my trans am, I need the one for the 5.0 and 5 speed, GM says it could have had 1 of 2 .... the transmission is a 87, so will the 90 speed sensor fit where the cable was ? .... there also asking for a oem number, one of them is 45.00 bucks the other is 70 something, so any idea's whick one I need

It has nothing to do with the year.
It depends on whether it's for a TBI car or a TPI car. One gives 2000 pulses per mile, I think that's the TPI one; the other one gives 4000 pulses per mile. The right one would depend on which computer you're hooking it up to.

will the 90 sensor fit in th 87 5 speed, and Im running 373 gears and idea on a gear for the speed sensor
