Help- read asap please

Ok I'm not familiar with this.. My Firebird has a speedometer cable going to the sending unit. My T/A just had a wire and plug. I need to know how to remove the speedometer cable from the transmission so I can pull the transmission out *tonight*.

Transmission: 4L80E/4L80E
Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
Unscrew the nut on the end of the cable that holds it onto the tranny.

Lol k I just looked at it for a second or two, I guess I should learn to pay more attention to detail Thanks for an answer to my stupid question though
