Little T56 swap help please...

I am getting ready to do my 700R4 to T56 swap.... I already have the transmission, shifter, and clutch fork. All I really wanted to know is:

1)3rd gen or 4th gen pedals?

2)Will a 3rd gen hydraulic clutch setup work?

3)Does it have to be a 4th gen bellhousing?

thanks.

Also...

Will my driveshaft still fit?

'84+ 3rd gen pedals bolt right in. 4th gen pedals will work but you'll have to cut the gas pedal off the assembly.

3rd gen master and slave work, but the pressure line isn't long enough. You could have one made, but it's best just to spend the $100 on a whole new set of T-56 hydros and not have to worry about it leaking or anything.

The GM T-56 requires a T-56 bellhousing. Nothing else will fit. Also make sure it's a bellhousing from an LT1 car, because an LS1 bellhousing won't fit either. Aftermarket T-56's are compatible with the T-5 bellhousing.

Your factory driveshaft will fit with a GM T-56....not sure about an aftermarket trans.
