i have a rebuilt 700r4 with trans go shift kit and a 2500 stall it shifts real hard into 2nd but 2-3 and 3-4 shift is to soft unless your at WOT. i am not happy with it and i was wondering if there is anything i could do about it. any info would be apreciated.

 

I have the same problem, but I have the stock rpm converter...I know that it used to shift harder than it does now before it got rebuilt. I'm curious to see what the wizards think on here, they know WAY more than I ever will....Thanks!

The Trans-Go Performance Shift kit is "not" supposed to shift hard at light throttle, only at WOT. Shifting hard at light throttle accomplishes "nothing".

 

I've ridden in other 3rd gens that are snappy under light throttle instead of just overrevving then sliding into gear....how do they accomplish that?

 

ya i know what you are saying but it seems to shift too loose even looser than a stock tranny. it is almost at the point of slipping it just doesnt feal that great.
