clutch staying engaged

ok, i'm having a problem, i swapped a t5 into my 90gta, u bought a new PEP BOYS special clutch, and machined the flywheel, i did the work on a sunday so i used the brake lathe at work to machine it, later everyone told me i shouldn't have done that, but it was true,,

well the clutch pedal has always been very hard, u know get a cramp in the leg after driving in city for 20 minutes, and it's also grabbed VERY low, i'm gonna say about 1-2 inches off floor car will die if on the brake, when going into reverse, it will 80% of the time GRIND, like the clutch is staying engaged. well the t5 blew up, and i just installed a tremec tko and having some problems in 1st, 2nd and reverse...

i did add some spacers to the flywheel, BUT it think i ended up taking alot off the flywheel, would that disrupt the geometry of the slave and fork? i've tried double clutch in with little success, sometimes i can't even get into 1st and 2nd with the tremec. should i get a new flywheel??

thanks for ur help
jim
ps, ill post a tremec instal/evaluation once i'm set

well bandit,
if i were u, i'd go pick up a new slave cylinder and try that,,, that won't work,,,,
then i'd spend $500 on a gm flywheel and clutch set up, cuz u must be nuts to cut it on a brake lathe,,,, that will fix the heavy clutch pedal but won't fix the clutch staying engaged
then i'd throw ur tools on the ground after spending near $3000 on a strong transmission that doesn't work followed by M.f'n everyone in site,,, that didnt' fix it either
then i'd spend 3 hours takin measurments of ur master rod/pedal set up, slave throw, check clutch fork for straightness, u'd probable started to get confused with some of the measurments
then i'd put in the master cylinder that ur father got u at lunch time, and that will fix it
i guarantee it!!!

good luck buddy
