Just outta curiousity, seeing as i have never had lock-up until today, (1) is it hard on the tranny to shift while in lock-up? Ive heard of people racing them that way? (2) Is it bad under normal driving use? (3) Why does the converter un-lock anytime you hit the brakes? (4) Will damage encur if i leave the tranny locked up and barely brake on the high-way? Somebody shed a little light on this for me. I ask b/c my TC is run on an on/off switch. thanks.

That explains the inner-workings of a TC, but not really any of the questions i have. Anybody else got a clue?
