replacing 350 turbo with 700R in 82 Camaro
i want to replace the 350 turbo in my car with a 700R , i already have the 700R but was wondering about the tranny crossmember, my crossmember has the secondary mounts and from what i have heard the later model crossmember is different than the one in my car, bolts to body different....any isea's on if my stock crossmember will work? or can i mod. a later one to work?

Get the later parts from a junkyard - crossmember, torque arm, driveshaft.
The existing rear crossmember bolts will become the front bolts for the TH700 crossmember. You'll have to drill the frame for the rear bolts.
