I can't tell if my 700 is slipping?
The tranny on my car has 204,000 miles on it with a B&M shift kit that was installed at about 180,000 miles. The tranny makes no noise, and if you have it in Drive it'll spin 'em in second pretty easily. My motor pulls real hard especially after 3000 rpm and when I give it I like to take it to about 6000. The only problem is that the rpm's flare up as it try's to shift into second. Is this because the tranny was set up to shift at the factory redline or is it slipping because of the insane milage?or both?
