will it fit in my 92 rs
ok is it 7 1/2 carrier or 8/ 8 1/2 was told it was the 7 1/2 but someone else told me it might be a 8 incher so thought i would come ask you rear end guys

all gm 10 bolts for better than 20 years have been 7.5/7.62. it'd fit if you relocate the mounting brackets from your rear to the new one and come up with a way to mount the torque arm

Impalas have 8.5s. So do 1/2 and light 3/4 ton trucks. Not sure where you are getting your info ede....

It won't fit without major modifications though, as ede states. Impalas have a four link and we have a "three" link with a torque arm. And then there is the width issue... I don't know how close the widths of the two are....

 

well matt i'm not sure either, guess i didn't consider trucks, which i should of. didn't know any cars had anything but the 7.5s
