FINAL 6spd Checklist!

All 6spd swappers, here's the list of what I've got:

Tranny
Bellhousing
Shifter
Clutch setup
SGI-5
Special Crossmember
New Pilot Bearing

Custom work:
Cut shifter hole 2"

*Is this all I need?

Last minute Questions/Concerns:
-I know I have to cut the shifter hole, will I have to cut the stock 5spd console? Will the console even work?

For now that's it but if I have anymore, I'll make sure to post them.

Looks like a good list! When you say clutch setup I'm assuming you're including the slave/master cylinder unit for the 6 speed as well as the clutch? How about the flywheel? I'd say you've pretty much got it covered! The stock console and 5 speed shifter plate will be just fine with the 6 speed, although you'll have to do something creative for a lower shift boot (beneath the shifter plate, attached to the floor) I ended up getting one of those "Super Boot" shift boots and actually zip tied it down to the floor because it didn't line up perfectly. It's not absolutely wonderful but it serves the purpose pretty well Anyway, I think you've got your bases covered, it's a fun and relatively easy swap, so have fun!

if you are using the stock thirdgen pedals then you will most likely need the bushing that goes on the end of the master push rod to the clutch pedal (GM# 14091384) mine broke and it was only a few years old. I also had to drill out the one on the t56 master and grind down the one side so the eye loop was the same as the t-5 one allowing the new bushing to fit right. (thats how I did it)

Oh yes, good call 88 350 tpi formula, that was an issue for me too, I messed around and got things working though.
