th350 question

can someone tell me if there is something on a th350 tranny that needs to be adjusted. someone told me there is a modual on them, what does it controll?? also could someone tell me if the th350 sets the shiftt points based on throttle position?

a T350 uses a vacumn modulator to control shift points, the cable to the engine is only for kickdown(hence, kickdown cable), factory modulators are not adjustable, but you can get a aftermarket adjustable one that will let you adjust your shift points

so at WOT they shift the same as normal driveing? i find when i am at WOT she shifts into 3rd so fast (couple of seconds) and dont get the rpms up in second. she only feels fast in third, or when i downshift to second at a faster speed. is this normal?

make sure the vacumnb line from the engine to the vacumn modulator is good, and make sure there is no trans fluid inside it

How do you adjust them? We have "adjustable" ones at advance where I work but I don't see how they adjust/.
