T56 Strength ?

I'm going to be building a nice engine and want nothing more than a T56 to put behind it. I'm going to shoot for up to 400rwhp, and g0d knows how much torque, probably 500 max.

I've read a couple posts where guys claim the stock T56 (like from a 4th gen) will handle quite a lot of power.

Can anybody back this up or confirm it? Thanks.

"a lot of power" is hard to quantify, so i'll say yes it'll hold up to "a lot of power"

Well I mentioned that I'm going for up to 400rwhp and 500rwtq, so will it hold up to that? It'll probably be closer to 350rwhp and 450rwtq, but I don't want to limit myself.
