Restriction in hydralic clutch lines?
Has anyone heard anything about a restriction in the lines going from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder? Which would not allow the clutch to engage as fast causing gear grinding when trying to shift rapidly? Anyone have any poop on this?

I believe the problem that you are referring to is common in the LS1 cars, I saw an article on enlarging the passage for quicker response. I havent heard of this problem with a 3 rd gen setup

Thanks, guys. I think I have that problem. Maybe if I drill out the ends of those metal fittings, it would allow quoicker shifts..........
although it could be just that *****T-5(Can't complain. 160K and it's still alive, although the last 5k has been tough on it......with 400+horse) Also could be the fact that I'm running 90weight lube. When the car was new, the trans leaked a little. Back to the dealership. I talked to the tech, he told me that the trans came with ATF in it. He replaced it with 75W-90, and told me that ATF was NOT the hot ticket for the trans,. I've been running it ever since. New syncros, BTW, so it's not those. Any Ideas?
