quick question

when i was removing my 3.23 gear from the old open rear one of the bolts broke in the ring gear. i dont have much money right now so i was wondering if it would be ok to install the ring gear minus one bolt holding it to my slp torsen posi. obviously this isnt ideal, but if i take it easy on the car should it be fine until i can get the cash together to buy a 3.42?

i would not reccomend driving a car that you did that to, everything that has a bolt on it is bolted for a reason, it all has to do with balance and warpage in this case. With that bolt missing it might be warped enough to cause the ring gear to connect and cause wear

i see. well, you think it would be ok just to limp it to where i store it during the winter? its like a 10 minute drive and i dont have to go above 30mph... if you guys SERIOUSLY think it will mess up my rear end just doing that and a return trip in may or june, i will look for other options. thanks.
