Procedure for Flexplate

Anybody know where I should start my adjustments or alignment for a flex plate that is hitting the upper trans housing where it attaches to the motor? I don't know how it happened but my flexplate is hitting something everytime I take off from a stop. Also when it's cold and I put it in reverse. It has already made a hole in the trans case at the top area next to the Oil/fuel pressure switch. The bolt hole from the trans is gone and no the piece is not flopping around inside. Is it the fact that I'm now missing that one bolt that mounts to the engine. Is this causing it to flex and hit or rub? It only does it on take off's easy and hard take offs. Anyone wih expierience with this problem please reply your comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
