Anyone w/ 700R4 & Holley DP?

I am sure I am not the only one out there with a 700R4 and a holley DP. I bought the bracket from holley thats supposed to fix the geometry problem but my car doesn't shift right. Dana helped me through my Transgo kit install and he feels that I have improper TV geometry.

My problems are these:
When taking off the tranny shifts really quick and can be in drive by the time I am through an intersection. I manually shift it alot because it goes into drive to soon.

It won't downshift, I have to be going almost 15mph for it to downshift into 1st, and forget about a 3-2 or a 3-1 downshift from a roll.

Dana mentioned that bowtie overdrives has a really trick kit for the 700's and actually it was in Car Craft this month, but its like 100 bucks. However that is cheaper than rebuilding my transmission.

I am sure its a possibilty that I have something wrong in the TV circut but don't know what it would be.

I am really getting tired of it not shifting right and have to manually shift it constantly.

Thanks
Jason

If you have adjusted the TV cable to where it is tight at WOT?, then I can get you the Sonnax over the center TV cable corrector to help you out on this. This will usually will fix this. Let me know where to send it?

hey dana whats up, haven't talked to you in a while. The TV cable is tight at WOT. What is the Sonnax over the center corrector?

I appreciate all your help with putting my 700R4 together and kevins TH350, the convertor you sold him dropped almost 4 tenths off his time.

Thanks again.
