im looking to throw some 3.73's into my 89 camaro RS with a posi currently. im assuming it currently has 2.73's?

i found this at summit racing:


GM: 10-bolt, 7 1/2 in. ring gear, 3.73 ratio, 2 series carrier, ring and pinion set

will this bolt into my rearend?

 

you need to find out what you really have and not guess before you buy new parts. if you do ahve 2:73 it would be a 2 series and you'd need 3:73s to fit a 2 series. i tihnk you'd be ahead to tell them what you have and let them figure out what you need.
