OD Kickdown Part #8673948
Has anybody used the "B-Car Fix" Part #8673948? It alows a full throttle upshift into OD. I bought one of these, and plan on installing it this weekend when I put my tranny back together.
My real question is, after the new sleeve is installed into the valve body, do you install the spring first or the plunger, and which way does the plunger go into the sleeve, and exactly where in the valve body does it go? This part as far as I know doesn't replace the kickdown plunger, it goes some where else in the valve body.
The kit from GM doesn't have any instructions and the GM Parts Dept. didn't have any info either. I have a diagram that I got off of another website, but it is for the old "kickdown type".
