am i pushing the trans and rear end?
i'm building a 350 and i'm hoping to get about 350hp. i have the stock 84 non-posi rear end and a th2004r trans. i have 245 tires on the rear. do you think i'l be in danger of breaking anything? i'm mostly morried about the rear end since i'm going to have the trans rebuilt stronger. it dosn't get very good traction at all either.

If your building a 350 and makin your 200r4 stronger if wouldnt hurt to build the rearend. Maybe a nice eaton posi, 3.73,c-clip eliminator axels, aluminum rearend girdle wont hurt.If its a daily driven street car i would recomend a posi unit,3.42,3.20ish maybe and dont whomp on it you should be good

and why would you keep that open junk in there anyway. With an open rear youll prolly get slower 60' with the built 350 than with the motor in it now.
