transmission diferences?

transmission diferences?
I recently swaped a 350 into my v6 camaro along with an 700r4 out of an 84 z28 well this transmission is acting up and i think i can get a good deal on one from a 91 ta but it had a 305 in it can i still use this tranny, what are the diferences between the two?

That transmission will be fine out of the 91. As long as it comes out of a V8 then the housing will bolt up. In fact the 91 is a better transmission. They are both 700R4's but they made some changes in either 87 or 89(can't remember) that made the transmission stronger in terms of longevity.
