Th 350 in a -86 Z28?

I got a -86 Camaro with a Chevy 408" in front. I´ve "burnt" three "hot rod" th 700 trannys and now I´m aiming for a th 350 with a manual valvebody.

I know I have to get a 1982 driveshaft from an f-body, that I have to rebuild the crossover and build a braket there I can mount the torque-arm.

Has anyone some pictures of their th 350 installation in a 3:rd genner? Tips on a good installation is wanted.

Yours: Tobias P, Sweden

your drive shaft will work with the long tail shaft th350. buy a b&m pn 30299 and you won't have to make anything to bolt up the trans to the cross member or to mount the torque arm on the trans

he said he already has a driveshaft for an 82 which is the correct lenght...just get either the hurst or b&m torque arm bracket and youll be good to go.

Th 350

Thank you all for your quick respond

I've already started to build a bracket that is bolted on to the rear of the transmission using 3 of the 4 bolts that holds the last piece of the tranny. It´s a copy of the B&M design.

By using this kind of braket I still can use the original torque-arm.
