Might swap in a 4th rear, 2 questions....

From what i hear its a stronger rear, better gears, and it has discs instead of drums, it's also wider, how much wider and how will this affect my car since i have TT2's how much farther will they stick out with my current offset of 5.5 on 17 X 9.5's

It's not stonger. It's basically identical.

The 4th gen rear is a little less than 2" wider on each side.

Your wheels will look stupid. They will give it that ridiculous r¡cer "skateboard" effect.

If you have 26 spline axels the 4th gen rear is a little bit stronger, because they all use 28s. If you already have 28s then they are the same strength wise.

RB's right about the tires sticking out. It will look goofy.

His 91 has 28 splines as well.

Yeah, no way will the 5.5 backspacing work out right.
