Trans Gasket Install
I got a trans filter kit and it came with a rubber gasket. Ive only worked with cork and never had any problems putting them in wet. I was wondering how to put the rubber one in. Dry or Wet?
Use a product by Permatex called HIGH TACK on the gasket! I have used it as a mechanic for years and it is sooooo much better than silicone sealer, it virtually eliminates leaks. It can be easily removed and will not plug the servo vent hole on the pan rail.

Dry is the only way to go... Use some brake cleaner on the surfaces before assembly to ensure they are oil-free...
