Engine: 305

Transmission: TH-700-R4

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.23's and SLP Posi.

Rear end Rebuild

if someone could give me a step-by-step process on redoing my rear end it would be greatly appreciated. i just ordered my Zexel posi from SLP and i have my 3.23s sitting in the closet so i would like to know how to do this.

Transmission: T56, 5-speed, 700R4, C4, T176, semi-auto 2-speed

Axle/Gears: 3.73, 3.90, 4.88, 3.55, 3.54, 7.00

Nearly impossible to do on the messaeg board. You need a slew of gear pattern pictures to even begin to describe it. Get the setup book from Randy's Ring & Pinion at www.ringpinion.com

It's the best book I've seen and it's free with gears or a master overhaul kit.

also for the speedo gears. the gears i have came out of a V6 that had the 200r4 and i have the 700r4 will the speedo gears work? also what is the difference between the drive and driven gears for each ration. 2.73 and 3.23
