Question on manuals..
I am looking to do a swap from auto to manual. Are there big differences between the 5-speed system in a V6 car and the 5-speed system in a V8 car? The local junkyard usually has tons of V6 cars so I want to know if I can get most of the parts to do the swap off them or does it have to be a V8 car? What parts should I pick up at the junkyard and what parts should I buy new? I probably wouldn't pick up the tranny at the yard but the rest of the stuff I would. Thanks for any help.
