I need help getting my baby on the road. I need to get the trany rebuilt and I am a bit short on cash. I can't seem to get her above 40 and she won't switch from 2nd to 3rd gear. All the other things that are wrong with her I can fix on my own. Got any advice send me a PM or e-mail me at AngelaAmator@aol.com
Thanks,
Heather

I had that problem last year. It is a common problem on the 700r4 transmissions.. Your 3-4 clutchpack is shot.

I'm sure its the 3-4 cluchpack. Like I said before I had the same proble last year and when I took the trans apart the 3-4 clutches were shot. I replace them and the trans has been fine ever since. The 3-4 clutch pack in the weakest area of the 700r4 transmissions

Yep.

A buddy got a Monster 700r4 a while back, and it has seen numerious N20 shots since. Seems like a decent deal for about a $1000.
