Should I rebuild my rear end?

I have a 91 z28 with the posi limited slip 7.5 3.23 rear disc rear end any my ring and pinion are dying. my rearend hums like it is its job and vibrateds untill i let off the throttle and at high speeds its just horrible. what to do what to do????

also i just got a b&m shiftkit, bigger boost valve, and im getting a vette servo next week. how hard is it to install all three? i have the proper tools just never done it before. especially in car still

If that is your car then I can see why your rear end hums! Lol. Anyways though . . . you just have a bad bearing somewhere in the rear end. If you gonna go through the trouble of going through the rear end just getting a bigger gear like a 3.73. That's just my opinion. Also have you checked your U-joints? Cause my car vibrated until I got off the gas and turned out one of my U-Joints froze up . . . Go Figure! (Good Job Murray's crap.)

return that b&m shift kit and go with the transgo one... TRUST ME... you'll regret buying the b&m when you put it in, lol
